RESUMEN: La literatura y la subalternidad desde sus propios orígenes han estado conectadas y han hecho

aportes significativos a las ciencias sociales y humanísticas. Adentrarse en el estudio de los subalternos y su

relación con el discurso literario proporciona un conocimiento necesario e indispensable para visualizar la

conexión entre ambos conceptos literarios y científicos. Ambas contribuyen a transformar el poder, cuestionan

sus estructuras y se visibilizan las realidades que han sido ignoradas. De esta manera, favorecen la lucha por

la justicia y la igualdad social. El estudio de estas variantes del conocimiento son una exploración fascinante

que facilita la compresión de esas voces silenciadas y marginadas que encuentran en la literatura una manera

de reflexión y a veces de denuncia. Así aparecen nuevas narrativas que van más allá de lo histórico y

testimonial, en conexión con la memoria, a través de la resistencia y en la búsqueda de la reivindicación.

ABSTRACT: Literature and subalternity from their very origins have been connected and have made

significant contributions to the social and humanistic sciences. Delving into the study of subalterns and their

relationship with literary discourse provides necessary and indispensable knowledge to visualize the

connection between both literary and scientific concepts. Both contribute to transforming power, question its

structures and make visible the realities that have been ignored. In this way, they favor the struggle for justice

and social equality. The study of these variants of knowledge is a fascinating exploration that facilitates the

understanding of those silenced and marginalized voices that find in literature a way of reflection and

sometimes of denunciation. Thus, new narratives appear that go beyond the historical and testimonial, in

connection with memory, through resistance and in the search for vindication.
