RESUMEN: El debate sobre la condición filosófica del marxismo se originó a finales del siglo XIX y continuó en

los primeros años del siglo XX. Surgieron marxismos positivistas y éticos que incorporaron el neokantismo en

detrimento del hegelianismo revolucionario presente en la obra de Marx y Engels. El revisionismo reformista

de Bernstein y ciertas variantes del empiriocriticismo ruso optaron por el neokantismo. El debate produjo

sistemas filosóficos ajenos al marxismo originario. Sus consecuencias negativas llegan hasta hoy, también en

Cuba.

ABSTRACT: The debate about the philosophic condition of Marxism began to finish the century XIX and

continuous to the first’s years of century XX. Then came into being a positivist and ethic marxism that added the

neo-kantianism and rejected the revolutionary hegelianism that was present in the works of Marx y Engels. The

reformist revisionism of Bernstein and some tendencies of russian empiriocriticism to choose for the neo-

kantianism. The debate caused the appearance of philosophicals systems alien to original marxism. The

negative consequences are presents today, in Cuba too.
